Energy Fuels Reports Q3 2026 Results, Advances Rare Earth Strategy
Energy Fuels completed the ASM acquisition and approved rare earth oxide construction at White Mesa Mill as it pursues a mine-to-magnet strategy.
Energy Fuels announced its third-quarter 2026 financial results, highlighting a series of strategic moves designed to position the company as a vertically integrated player in the rare earth supply chain, the Denver-based uranium and rare earth producer said Tuesday.
The company completed its acquisition of ASM, which includes a metals processing plant in South Korea, marking a significant step in its so-called mine-to-magnet strategy — an effort to control the full production chain from raw mineral extraction through finished rare earth materials used in permanent magnets.

Energy Fuels also said it has approved the start of construction for commercial-scale heavy rare earth oxide circuits at its White Mesa Mill. The facility, already a licensed uranium processing operation, is being expanded to handle the separation of heavy rare earth oxides, a technically demanding and strategically critical step in domestic rare earth processing.
In addition, the company reported progress on a pending acquisition of VAC, with an expected closing targeted for the first quarter of 2027. If completed, the VAC deal would further extend the company's downstream capabilities within its mine-to-magnet supply chain framework.
The announcements underscore growing corporate and government interest in building domestic alternatives to Chinese-dominated rare earth supply chains. Continue reading at Earnings.
