Centrus Q3 2026 Revenue Falls but GAAP Net Income Surges
Centrus posted $55.5M in Q3 2026 revenue, down from $74.9M a year ago, while GAAP net income jumped to $31.6M from $3.9M.
Centrus Energy reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $55.5 million, a notable decline from the $74.9 million recorded in the same period a year earlier, the company disclosed in its latest earnings release.
Despite the revenue contraction, the nuclear fuel supplier's GAAP net income surged to $31.6 million in the quarter, compared with just $3.9 million in Q3 2025 — a sharp year-over-year improvement that signals significant below-the-line gains not fully reflected in top-line performance.

On a non-GAAP adjusted basis, however, the picture was less favorable. The company recorded an adjusted net loss of $9.4 million for the quarter, reversing the adjusted net income of $5.2 million it posted in the prior-year period. The divergence between GAAP and non-GAAP results suggests one-time items or accounting adjustments played a substantial role in driving headline profitability.
The mixed results come as Centrus operates within the uranium enrichment and nuclear fuel supply sector, an industry facing evolving demand dynamics as utilities and governments reassess energy security strategies. The gap between reported earnings and adjusted figures warrants close attention from investors evaluating the company's underlying operational performance.
